- Michael is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a qualified Cost and Management Accountant. He has also completed the Executive Development Program from IIM – Ahmedabad.
- Michael operates out of Mumbai and has over 30 years of work experience, mainly in corporates.
- Michael has worked as Head of Finance in most organisations he was associated with and also as Group CFO and Director in his last venture and is currently a Director in two startups.
- Michael also was a Director on Board of two Joint Ventures of ACC Ltd and one of Ambuja Cement Ltd.
- His experience spans across industries viz., pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, cement, RMC, logistics, hospitality, trading, construction etc, both with multinationals and large Indian groups.
- Michael’s core specialization areas include setting up systems, processes, internal controls, due diligence, internal audits, system studies, designing and documenting SOPs, evaluate risks, develop strategy, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, Management Information systems, governance, compliance, cost reduction, cost control, banking, project finance, capital budgeting, working capital management, managing cash-flows, ERP-SAP implementation, and insurance.
